Description:

·     8:30 – 9:30 a.m. NODX 1hr. Auxin herbicides – Auxin Best ManagementPractices.

·     9:30 – 10:30 a.m. 1 hr. NODX Paraquat training – Concerns, healtheffects, and 1st aid, PPE, application, and storage. Paraquatproduct labels and regulatory changes. Participants must earn 100% on the examto earn credit.

·     11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. 1hr. NODXZ(SF) Soil Fumigation – This trainingwill review certification requirements, label changes, fumigation managementplans and best management practices for fumigant use.

·     1 – 3 p.m. 2hr V Private applicator - NCDA&CS topicsinclude EPA updates, NCDA&CS environmental programs, and Worker ProtectionStandard update.  The second hour will cover issues related toherbicide resistance, pesticide exposures on the farm, and review studies oflong term health outcomes.
