This ordinance establishes a Voluntary Agricultural District Program that preserves and maintains agriculture, horticulture, forestry, and open land areas within the county. In addition, the program works to protect greenspace and natural resources in future years as the county's population and development expands. Contracted with Cooperative Extension, the ordinance is administered by the Anson County Voluntary Agricultural Advisory Board.
