Lisa Benavente

As coordinator of EFNEP at NC State University, I oversee the program's statewide implementation and ensure alignment with EFNEP's federal policy. I provide leadership to regional supervisors, develop a long-term program plan, evaluate and report program impacts, promote internal and external collaborations, and practice good stewardship of EFNEP's fiscal resources. In partnership with colleagues across the university, the state, and the nation, I work to ensure that current nutrition education research and best practices are applied to the program's implementation in North Carolina.
